Moonglow Juniper Tree
Moonglow Juniper Tree offers evergreen color and fast growth—ideal for privacy screens, windbreaks, and year-round landscape structure.
1. Planting: Plant your Moonglow Juniper in well-draining soil and full sun (about 6 to 8 hours of sunlight daily). Place in a hole twice as wide and just as deep as the root ball. There's no need to amend the soil, but do add a thick layer of mulch around the base of the tree for pest and weed prevention.
2. Watering: Make sure your Moonglow Juniper receives at least one watering each week during its first 2 years. Rain is usually enough to keep it hydrated, but you'll need to water the establishing tree if you experience a period of drought. After it's established, there's no need to water your Juniper.
3. Pruning: Prune dead or diseased branches as needed. You can perform additional pruning for shape and size if desired. Keep an eye out for caterpillars and remove any branches that have been affected by them. Re-mulch with organic mulch every spring, and cover your tree during periods of heavy ice lasting more than 2 days.
