1. Planting: Plant these shrubs in moist, well-drained soil that receives full sunlight (between 6 and 8 hours daily). Although this particular cultivar is disease-resistant, it is still important to leave enough space around the shrubs to allow for proper air circulation. Space the plants 4 feet apart to create a mass planting.

2. Watering: New plants should be watered on a regular schedule, while established plants require less frequent watering. Water when the top several inches of soil are dry.
